My book is "Thought My Soul Would Rise and Fly" In this story a poor black girl has to work for these rich white people who bought her when she was little. As time went by the people that her own kids started to fall in love with her so they gave her a diary to keep all of her thought. They tood her not to tell anyone cause if her misstess found out they wolud think that she had stolen it in make her give it to them to put in the trash.I think this is charcter vs.charcter because now Annie has to deal with making sure that she dose not tell anyone that she has been givin a diary.
My book, "Look to the hills" is about a companion slave, Lozette Moreau (called Zettie by her owner) who has a better life than most slaves, she has a great english education and she goes and does everything that her owner does, Marie-Louise but Zettie calles her Ree. When Ree's father died her cruel brother took charge of there family and the land they owned. He got them in dept and they had to sell there slaves for money. When there cruel brother was going to sell Zettie, Ree had thought of a plan. Her best friend helped get her and Zettie away and to spain. They than went to American to find there lost brother. They found him and he turned to there house and claimed there land than after a few years they freed Zettie. She never had a horrible life as a slave but she always knew she wasn't free until her owner set her free.
In my book, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Francie Nolan and her family work hard for meager pay. Merchants, who played the firsthand role of the "rich" often had to accomodate to the porrer families in the area. The "poor" often paid for moldy and stale food, at discounted prices. Even though these prices were lowered, some families couldn't even afford the products. The merchants were gracious, and were a big help to the lower classes.
Since my book takes place back when slaves were around, which was around the 1800's, so of course there were rich and poor people. The wealthy white men own the plantation and buy the poor African Americans and turn them into slaves and work on there land.
In my book "one eye laughing, the other weeping" a Jewish girl Julie lives in Vienna, Austria and is very wealthy. Her father is a very popular doctor. When Nazis take over Austria, they take all valuable possessions from Julie's family as well as many other families. During the Holocaust, most Jewish people living in Europe were attacked, sent to concentration camps, killed or robbed. But since Julie's family is wealthy, her brother is able to successfully flee to Palestine and she is able to go to America to live with her Aunt and Uncle. Although a lot of Jewish people who weren't as wealthy were not that lucky, and were murdered or died in concentration camps.
In my book "A Day No Pigs Would Die" the Rob (the main character) and his family are poor and don't get the luxuries others may get. They have to grow there own food, milk there own cows, and eat meat from there pigs, cows, and chickens. Also Rob's Dad made him a whistle out of wood which Rob was so grateful to have. Today a whistle is no big thing to have.
Rich vs. Poor has a big impact on my story "Crispin" because when Crispin is falsely accused of a crime, the "government" or the King has people go after Crispin. The King is very rich and powerful, especially in the middle Ages. Rich is going against poor because Crispin is a peasant boy living in England in 1377.
widge is a poor orphan that has no body who really care for him or understands him. he wears old clothes and does not have a good life. no body cares about him or what he does they guess use him to get what they want.
In my book "A Single Shard" there is a boy named Tree-ear and he is poor and lives under a bridge. Tree-ear starts to work for a wealthy man to pay off what he had broke. Which was a box filled with little pottery.
My book is ''Doomed Queen Anne''In this story their are peasants who are the poor people and their are rich royals who are the wealthy people and one of the royals is King Henry the 8th he is the ''King of England'' who is most favored by the ladies. She relates to the rich and poor because she sort of was poor when it came to clothes and jewlery and then when she found ''King Henry the 8th''to her liking and tried to take over the kindom she got the most dresses clothes and jewlery she ever dreamed of because he tried to give her riches so she would marry him but instead she took advantage of the him and tried to take over the kindom by knocking the former ''Queen Of England'' out of the way and ruining everyones freedom in the kindom.
ok the relationtion between rich and poor in this book would have to be that all the rich people have the big wagons and the not really poor people have the small wagons
My book is on a police officer that lives in England in a town where there are rich people and poor people. In the town there is a lot of crime done by the poor people. The rich people accuse Barry's dog, Caesar, for the murder of 2 sheep and 12 lambs.
In my book "The journal of Rufus Rowe" you can see a huge difference between the rich and the poor in the south. The rich would own a big Plantations with lots of slaves. They would have horse and buggy's, and have siuts and dresses.The poor would wear raggy and torn up clothes.They would have to walk everywhere they needed to be and might work with the slaves to get money to support thier families.
